Our Journey
Established in 1988, Shraddha Refinery is the first in refinery sector to set up refinery plant in Khamgaon area. Initial idea was to set up refinery plan to separate out copper from silver with electrolytic process so that copper doesn’tgo waste and easily separable. Later plant turned to set up Re-Refineryprocess which produced 99.99% pure silver
1989-1990 - Shraddha refinery slowly grabbed Indian market for Silver Industrial product by keeping low profit margin and providing high quality products.
1991-95 - Quench of entering in the new field of products made us think of Silver Nitrate in the form of Ink which is used to put figure mark in the election process. We produced and supplied this ink for election purpose. This ink was used for Parliamentary Election and Local elections bodies in Maharashtra heavily.
1995 - Another innovative product that was introduced in the product list was Silver Alloy which is mix of Silver, Copper and Zing. This is used as ‘Brazing Agent’. As of today, we are providing ‘Breezing Rod’ to 9 divisions of Indian Railways.
1998 - Where else? Search for new market was on. We found that Pure Silver Contact is used in Railway signal. To meet the need of quantity, maintain production speed with quality we received machinery Taiwan. Finally with yearlong efforts we started supplying Pure Silver Contact to Railway Signal Store.
Most excitingphase of this journey was providing ‘Sterling Silver Tubes’ to ISRO. This tube was mixture of silver and copper metalwith crack blowhole and without super finish. We got chance to serve nation in the form of this contract and we did it with low profit margin. Indeed a proud achievement of this journey!
